Because I Must: Building What Only I Can See
Share
While others sleep, I’m chasing light,
Drafting futures deep in night.
Not for praise or fleeting fame,
But for a spark I cannot name.
I’ve traded birthdays, skipped goodbyes,
Answered emails under tired skies.
Told my fears, “Just wait your turn,”
While silent lessons made me burn.
I’ve failed in ways no one can see,
But each fall built a better me.
I’ve lost some friends who didn’t stay—
Not all can walk this kind of way.
But still I rise, still I build,
By quiet faith, my lungs are filled.
I’m not just chasing some reward,
I’m answering what I can’t ignore.
This path is lonely, steep, and long,
But every struggle makes me strong.
This isn’t just a job I do—
It’s the reason I break through.
So if I cry, if I bleed,
It's just part of what I need.
Because I’m called, and I must see,
The dream become reality.
