When you feel inadequate or incapable, remember that your strength is not your own—it’s from Christ. Lean on Him to face every challenge, big or small, and believe in His power working through you.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
—Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
When Your Strength Isn’t Enough
Have you ever sat at your desk with your head in your hands, staring at an endless to-do list and wondering how you’re going to pull it all off? Maybe it was after a disappointing pitch, a financial setback, or a tough leadership decision that left you questioning if you're really cut out for this. Maybe you’re there right now—feeling the weight of expectations, both internal and external, and wondering how much longer you can keep carrying it all.
I’ve been there—more than once. As an entrepreneur, there are seasons where your passion meets pressure, and suddenly your vision feels heavier than it does inspiring. The deadlines pile up. Clients are waiting. Your team is counting on you. And somewhere in the middle of all that noise, doubt creeps in: Do I have what it takes? Am I enough for this calling?
We love the idea of being strong, capable, and independent. The hustle culture teaches us that we should always be grinding, always achieving, always pushing past our limits. But what happens when you hit those limits? What happens when your human strength runs out?
That’s exactly where God’s power steps in—not to shame you for being weak, but to meet you in it and carry you through.
The Power That Sustains You
Philippians 4:13 is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible—and for good reason. It's not just a motivational slogan; it's a declaration of dependence. The Apostle Paul wrote this from a place of deep personal need. He wasn’t on a stage celebrating a win—he was in prison, writing about contentment and strength in all circumstances. His secret? Christ.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Notice what Paul doesn’t say. He doesn’t say, I can do all things because I’m talented. Or, I can do all things because I have the right connections or funding or team. He says he can do all things through Christ’s strength.
This is a radical shift. The world says, “Be self-made.” Scripture says, “Be Christ-powered.” The world teaches that burnout is a badge of honor. But Jesus invites us into rest, surrender, and supernatural strength.
There’s a humility in admitting that you can’t do it all on your own. But there’s also incredible freedom. Because if Christ is your source of strength, then your capacity is no longer limited to your natural abilities. His strength empowers you to show up when you’d rather quit, to love people when it’s hard, to persevere when the results aren’t immediate.
And the best part? His strength never runs out.

You’re Not Alone in This
Friend, you don’t have to prove your worth through endless effort. You don’t have to carry every burden alone. God sees you—not just as a capable leader, but as His beloved child. He’s not asking you to have it all figured out; He’s simply asking you to trust that He does.
You may feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or weary. But you are not powerless. You are not directionless. Prayer
Lord, thank You for reminding me that I don’t have to carry everything on my own. I admit that some days I feel overwhelmed, underqualified, or just plain tired. But I also believe that Your strength is enough for me—right here, right now. Help me stop striving in my own effort and start depending more on You. I trust that You will guide me, equip me, and sustain me through every challenge and opportunity. Thank You for being my strength.
Amen.
